A scan revealed every sensor in the car was tripped. I cleared the computer but when I started the car again once again the scan was the same. All the sensors tripped codes again. What could be wrong? I think the computer brain has malfunctioned. What do you think? Thank you bob lambert

Hi there,

If you are getting multi codes, I would be checking the main power supply and earth to the ECU, if OK, have the ECU tested for a fault, or fit a known good test ECU to test the system.

You may want to check the wiring to and from the ecm. When I had similar issues, the wiring was loose and burnt at several key points. The worst of it was directly under the ecm itself, water gets in there from front splash and just eats the wires away. Being a 92 "like mine" im willing to bet this is the issue. Very easy and cheap fix. If you have any further issues, let me know, I have a 92 z34 LQ1 and have basically rebuilt the whole thing. I know what you're going thru. But it is all well worth the effort. 221,000 miles later, running like a champ. Let me know if you want to hear about any mods as well.
