The engine dies when you accelerate into passing gear, but will start right back up again. The service engine soon light is also on and codes a number 43, dont know if this is related or not

A 91 lumina is a obd1 car. So u read flashes or you have a scanner give you a code. But 43 doesn't mean anything unless you have the proper way to decode the stored code. Autozone will scan ur car and tell you what it means. Or you may b able to rent the tool.

We figured out the problem, The electrical portion of one of the injectors was shorting out. We replaced it and it solved the problem
