I recently called mikes towing service to give me a jump and the car did not start up at first. Next day the car started up with no problem butshortly after, had the car towed to auto mechanic shop any ways. I was told that the needed a fuel pump and that it would cost me over 600.00 dollars to have repaired. What shoul I do? The car will start up.

If it starting up with no problems and not dying out within 15mins of running time I believe its still good or you can check the fuel pressure to verify if its producing the correct fuel pressure with a fuel pressure gauge. Watch your back pocket, be extra careful who you dealing with. Get a 2nd opinion
