Transfer case pops out of four high

I have a 98 trooper auto, well maintained. It started popping out of 4wheel dr. High, so I had the transfer case replaced and the vacuum switches on the front axle. Nothing has changed. When I hit the shift on the fly button, I only drive a few feet, and the transfer case shifter handle will pop out of gear. Am I overlooking something? Please help. Thanks, mike

Once the transfer is in gear you can take it out unless you are at a stop, so that tells me there is a problem in the transfer case.
