Golf diesel engine in a Geo Metro

It's hard to find a diesel golf, but the engines are pretty easy to find, is it possible to modify the engine to fit in a Geo/Chevy Metro? And does anyone know how much that would cost?

No offense but I wouldn't even try. Since when has a geo metro been worth that kinda time and money. Im no expert but I can imagine it would take a lot of modifcation under the hood. Persue it if you'd like but you'd better have a fat bank account.
