There is a vibration feeling from the brake pedal

Two days ago I was trying to stop on an icy road. The speed of the car was low ( believe less than 10 m/h). There is a vibration feeling from the pedal. Do you think I should check into the ABS system? Thanks!

This sounds like it is normal as more then likely you had a tire slipping and the ABS activated.

This would be what it is supposed to do as the ABS pump will pulse the brakes and the pedal vibrates.

However, if you are concerned, I would check for codes using the guide below.

If there are no codes and the pedal does not vibrate under normal circumstances then I would think this is operating the way it is supposed too.
