2006 Chevy Impala check engine light- P2135

2006 Chevy Impala 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 70k miles

my check engine light came on, went to autozone, they said it was fault code p2135. I took it to my mechanic but he can't get me in until monday, should I worry about driving too much with this problem until then? And how much is this going to cost me?

This is a throttle position sensor performance code. If the vehicle is equipped with a electronic throttle control. I would sugguest not to drive it. If has a throttle cable. The ecm will average the tps signal and should be ok to drive. Look under the hood if you see a mechanical cable going to the throttle body. Before you keep driving it
