Heater problem
2006 Chevy Impala 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 78.650 miles

HELLO;THANKYOU FOR YOUR CONCERN ON MY ISSUE WITH MY 06 IMPALA. THIS VEHICLE IS DRIVEN PRIMARILY BY MY WIFE;SHE HAS RECENTLY ADVISED ME THAT WHEN SHE ENGAGE THE CONTROLS FOR THE HEATER THE HEATER WILL COME ON AND BLOW COLD AIR AS SHE CONTINUES TO DRIVE AND CAR WARMS UP THE HEATER WILL WARM THE INTERIOR COMPARTMENT
UP. NOW IF SHE HAS TO STOP FOR ANY REASON REDLITE OR GO THOUGH A DRIVE THOUGH WIDOW;
THE HEATER WILL STOP HEATING UP THE INSIDE OF THE VEHICLE THE BLOWER WORKS FINE BUT THE HEAT WILL NOT COME THOUGH THE VENTS. I MIGHT ADD THAT THIS VEHICLE IS EQUIPED WITH FACTORY INSTALL CAR START REMOTE IN WHICH ONCE YOU USE REMOTE START THAT WILL ACTIVATE THE HEAT OR AIR WHICH EVER YOU CHOOSE TO HEAT OR COOL THE INSIDE COMPARTMENT. THAT FEATURE IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY EITHER. ONCE AGAIN THIS IS A IMPALA LT MODEL. THANK YOU

First check and see if there is coolant in the system. Sounds like it is low. If it is, have the cooling system pressure checked for leaks. As for the remote start, does it start the vehicle at all? You may need to have it scanned for trouble codes.
