Steering problem
2005 Chevy Impala 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

when I start my car from cold start and make a sharp turn when leaving the driveway a growling noise is heard in the front end and my traction control lite comes on. When warmed up it goes away.

No 2pro car stores here, I am in nova scotia, canada, the only gm garage will charge me $65 dollars to perform a scan check, that, s too much for me, on pension. When I turn off the trac. Control when I pull away from a stopped position the problem is gone, only there when trac. Control is on. Was told it is a bearing sensor, loose wire or a wheel bearing is going bad

Most likely it is a bad wheel bearing or a broken wire. I just like to verify the code and what the problem is before I throw parts at it. That could get more expensive than just having someone see what the code is and fixing it correctly

I'm no help but I had the same problem with my 2003 Impala.
When I turned left with my trailer on the car the trac light came on.
I pulled over, stopped the engine and restarted. This put the light out 'till next time.
The problem is gone for the past two months.
I'm also in NS. Outside of Truro.
