When I cut the steering wheel to the left there is a whining type of noise. It sometimes continues to whine a little even after if straighten the wheel back. It's not real loud and seems to come from the left side of the car. Any ideas????

Could be wheel bearing. If you turn left and hear whine then right bearing. turn right noise left bearing.

My 2005 Impala just did that and it was the wheel bearings. Normally if you change one side...you do both. I did and noise stopped!
