2005 Chevy Impala Automatic 100k miles

hi all. I went to the dealership and purchased a 2005 chevy imapala and when I got home my radio said "locked". So I called the dealership to ask them why my radio said lock on it and they kindly explained to me that the perwson who owned it before me had placed a lock on it and they didnt have the passcode in their records. SO WHAT AM I SUPPOS TO DO NOW. Its a radio from the manufacuer of the car. Please help. What should I do?

Hello you should be able to call the 1800 number in
owners manual and have the service rep give you the steps to reset your pass code.
The dealer should have told you that.
Happend to me when I replace my battery and the radio was armed. Hoped this help
