I am looking for information on the pressure control solenoid for the 2004 chevy impala. Where is it located, i know you have to take off the front driver side tire to get to this side of the tranny. What do i need to do to get to this part? Any information would be much appreciated.

It is inside the transmission behind the side cover. You will need to lower the sub frame and lower the transmission and engine to gain clearance to remove the cover. The drive axle will also need to be removed. This is not something for the beginner.
