2004 Chevy Impala Front Wheel Drive Automatic 108000 miles

battery began to go dead. Thought left lights on or whatever(couple times) decided to replace battery. Couple weeks later do same thin get it jumped will start up. Then noticed windows still have power after turning off key and opening door. So changed window relay. Still windows have power after shutting off. Changed ignition switch. Now ignition will not turn over& still have power to windows?

When you say you changed the ignition switch, the key tumbler, or the platic part that plugs into the harness?

Changed plastic part that plugs into harness. Started a couple times, then nothing

Have you done a relearn on the pass-key?
GM PASS LOCK RELEARN- Ignition to "run" position, try to start and let key return to "run" position
Approx ten minutes security light will go off
Turn key "off" and wait 5 seconds
Repeat 2 more times for a total of 3 relearns.
Turn key off, then start it

Car starts now thank-you very much. But the windows still have power to them when key is off and door open

You will have to scan for "B" codes with a scntool that is able to do this, most shops can scan B cods, and the dealer too. Try pulling the retained accessory power relay. It's on the top of the fuse box, and the breaker is on the bottom of the fuse box, after you remove it, see if the windows are now powered down.
