2003 Chevy Impala Location of the thermostat

Where is the thermostat located on the 3400 V6 (code e) engine? Please be specific.

(I'm only a shade "bush" mechanic. I'm not allowed to work under a full tree.)

Standing in front, follow the upper radiator hose, at the end of it on the right side is the tstat.
