My battery warning light came on in my message center. I took it to the dealer and he said my alternater was bad. I put in a new alternater and the light stayed on. I had the old one checked and it was only producing 3 amps. As I was getting ready to remove my alternater I noticed my lights flickering highs and lows when car is shut off. I'm having problems with the high beam switch. When I'm sitting in the car I can hear a flickering sound. It dosn't drain my battery. Please give me some advise.

Hi
Is alternator output 14.5V to 15.2V? Headlight relay on top of fuse panel is what you must be hearing. Pull relay see if the terminals have letter markings. If yes place ohm meter on terminal AA black/white wire. Dose the meter fluxiate? If yes then BCM is grounding relay.
Let me know
