My water pump was leaking so I had it replaced with a new thermostat. It was fine for a while then another leak appeared. So I had it pressure tested again and they said the timing gasket is badis that true or not can you tell what else it could be.

Not sure what they mean timing gasket. The 3.4 uses a cartridge pump and is sealed with an O'ring.

Timing chain is enclosed and coolant should not be leaking anywhere near it.

Have them give you the specific part name.

In any case they should have fixed it the first time, I would tell them to fix it on their dime.
