Hello 2CarPros,

I was informed by Precision Tune on Randleman Rd, Greensboro, NC that the lower intake gasket of my car was leaking after they had flushed the radiator; the "Low Level Coolant" light did not come on before I took it there now it is showing from time to time. They are asking for $963.00 to fix it.

Please, is it safe to drive it to and from work tomorrow and then fix it?

Thank you very much.

Rnmdan.

IT has the potential to cause problems. If the coolant is only leaking out, you should be okay as long as you keep the coolant level full. If the coolant leaks into the cylender or engine oil, it could cause major internal engine damage.

Let me know if you have other questions.
