2002 Chevy Impala leaking water inside car when it rains

Whenever it rains water is building up on front passenger floor but no water is leaking arround the sides of the carpet its comming from underneath like its running down the firewall or something and comming up under the carpet?

I also had this problem with my 2002 Chevy Impala.
I found that I hadn't made sure the seals were in their places when I changed the Cabin Air Filter.

I don't know if your cabin air filter was replaced recently; but, if it has, chances are the seals are not in place.

Also check to make sure the drain tube to the outside is clear. If it isn't peeing on the ground when it's running, then take a small brush and run it up the hose a bit.
