I just got my car daignosed and the dealer told me there is a misfire in cylinder 2 and no compression. They told me I need a new engine but I think there just trying to get money out of me. The car is running on 5 cylinders and there is a noise in the valve train. Not to mention the car runs rough can this problem be fixed? Please help1

Hi there,

I would be getting some further tests done, as you may lust have a burnt or stuck valve in the cylinder head, if so this will be far cheaper than getting a new motor, your local mechanic will be able to test this easily.
