i have a 2002 chevrolet impala that has started hesitating and jerking when i hit the accelerator it gets worse driving up an hill it feels like it be running out of gas. it has a funny noise on the left side while its doing that also.

First, have it scanned for any trouble codes. (Post any codes for us) Remove the plug wires from the ignition coils and see if the coil towers are corroded. If any are corroded, replace it and the wire for that coil.
