I have a 2001 Chevy impala, and my driver information center has went blank, and my heat/ac does not blow?
It all started with the ac/heat not doing anything when you turned the switched, then I had noticed it done it when the driver information center screen was blank, so I would hit the dash a couple times, and it would cut right on. Then after a couple months of hitting the dash to get it on, thatt stopped working, and now the driver information center is blank, and the ac/heat does nothing when the knob is turned to cut it on. Does anybody have a clue? Is it a fuse?Relay?Resistor? Please help

You can check the fuse first, but if the fuse had blown, then hitting the dash would've never worked to begin with.

Unfortunately, by hitting the dash, you may have made it worse. Usually, your electrical contacts at the back of the control panel have corroded or become loose. If you are handy with a digital multi-meter, then you can probe the wires and connectors until you track down the cause.

If not, then you'll have to take it to a competent mechanic.
