My battery died and I swapped it with another battery that My brother had for his car and then went to the auto parts store and had them replace the battery. They hooked some kind of memory thing in under the dash then changed the battery when the un pluged the box they had plugged in everything in the car went off and the car would not start they checked all connections and then plugged the box back in all lights started working again and the car would start they unplugged and the car stayed running and will start when turned off however the power locks, auto headlights speedometer and rpm, inside lights and dash light none of them work and the radio(factory) says locked on it. Any suggestions on how to fix this or what needs to be done. Thanks

First I would check the plug they removed to make sure the terminals aren't damaged, then I would check all the fuses and fusible links at the starter, as far as the radio is concerned, when you bought the car the owners manual should have the radio code written inside, if not the radio has to be removed, you're gonna have to call the dealer and give them the number off the back of the radio so they can give you the code.
