2001 Chevy Impala battery is new

2001 Chevy Impala 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

the battery will go dead every once in a while and the battery is brand new and I had my alternator checked and they said it was good. Do you have any idea what the problem could be?

Sounds like there is a draw in the electrical system. Check and see if the glove box light is staying on, trunk light ect. Also do you have a phone charger that is plugged in all the time. I have seen body control modules stay on and cause a dead battery
