2000 Chevy Impala slipping while going up hill or slight ac

when warm or hot under slight acce. or going up hill
has trailer hitch type hesitation have to accel. to drop back into to third to stop. have had trans. power flushed. seems ok at higher altitudes.

So irt slips in OD when accelerating? could just be the clutches in the OD pack are worn out at that mileage.The trans will downshift to accelerate when a certain percentage of throttle is applied, the OD gear isnt really designed to accelerate th ecar, just hold it at low rpm cruising for mileage
