I have a classic 65 Chevy with a 350 ci engine and a 4 barrell carb. The engine is not original. I have dual exhause. I noticed blue smole coming from the drivers side tailpipe. I had the valve guide seals replaced and it seemed to reduce the problem for a short time. Now after maybe 100 miles I have the same problem. I hate to remove the cylinder heads but I dont know what else the problem may be. Please help if anyone has any ideas.

You may have a couple of bad rings. But also take a look at the big vacuum hose connected to the brake booster, pull it off and see if it is wet on the inside. Let me know. (Pull it off while the car is off of course)
