I went to a dealer and they did diagnostic on my van. The said that my transmission won't shift after 3 gear/ And computer shows thtIt needs new 3 & 4 solenoids in my transmission. So I have no idea which ones are hey

You gave me the engine size not the tranny is it 4L60E
or 4L80E
This is the location of your sensors and solenoids in relation to the tranny

if you have not done a thing like this before may I suggest get few estimates
tranny oil pan has to be removed and filter too

Sorry I've been under the weather !

As in any electric issue fuses should be check 1st
you need to check fuses
then move on to the wiring harness and check for cuts and shorts
just give it a good look make sure no cuts
check the 20 pin tranny connector
and if all good
remove tranny oil pan

disconnect wiring harness assembly from solenoid and replace

You need the 2-3 solenoid
order that then pull down tranny pan
and replace

Hi,
We have changed a solenoid and still have same problem.
Shift stays on 3rd gear.
I didn't do diagnostic yet. But it feels like nothin have changed in how engine runs

Check the solenoid power circuit from the ignition switch. You might have a faulty ignition switch that doesn't feed power to the transmission.
