Electrical problem
1978 Chevy El Camino V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 68,000 miles

New starter, new battery, new battery wires.
The car suddenly stopped sarting, no click, no sound or action from turning the key. How do you remove the ignition switch, & how do you remove the netraul saftey switch? These are the only thing left that I can eliminate in the ignition loop? Besides the wire that runs to the fuse block wich I will also replace, alt has worked fine before this no start problem.

Do you

You say that the starter wa new what about the starter soloind. Try jump starting it. That would definatly elliminate the starter if it starts.
