Stalloing while driving. Please help

Hello there.I have a 2001 corvette c5 with 94000 with a 5.7. My quesyion is that when I leave the house I after one mile of driving the car dies while I am driving and I have to pull off to the side of the road. After setting there for 15 or 20 mins the car will restart and go. This happens almost every time I drive. Im sick of this car by now. Sometimes it wont even do this at all. It took my 45 mins to go 5 miles yesteday. Why does it stall so quick after I leave and the car isnt even warm yet. Any help will be gratefully appreciated. Thanks.

You need to have the fuel pressure check for a start.
