Getting a grinding noisefrom the front end when I turn the wheel, it looks like the rack and pinion is there an easy way to find out what is causing the noise?

Best guess. Have the front rack replaced. It is that simple. Do not buy a rebulit. It will cost you twice as much. You will replace a rebuilt 2 times a new one.
One time. Please get a dealer part. It comes with a promise.
