I recently traded for a Corvette with 160xxx miles. I recently had to replace two piston rods as they broke. After they were replaced I noticed oil pressure was a little low generally at about 50% when driving it hard and also I could smell oil when the windows are up. Now the oil smells clean not at all burned but what could causing the smell and the low oil pressure. I also recently had the oil changed.

Any thudding or thumpping noises?

Check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge if normal replace the oil pressure switch abnormal could mean oil pump or engine bearings.

Smelling oil could be leaks coming from the valve covers/intake manifold/timing chain cover/front and rear seals/oil pan investigate
