1987 Chevy Corvette code 34 intermittent

Had a code 34. On cold start up the engine service soon light comes on. Sometimes goes off by itself after warmed up or when the ignition is shut off and restarted the engine service soon light stays off. Replaced maf but the problem remains.

This can be a cople of things. First check your duct work that is between the MAF and the throttle body. Make sure it fits well and has no holes in it. Check your connections and wires to make sure they are connected well. If your idle is off or rough, spray some choke cleaner on both sides of the throttle plate to clean it as well as the iac hole and tps switch. If it still does it, then make sure your grounds are clean and not corroded. There is a possiblity that it may be your ECM as well, but check everything out and have a pro look at it before replacing the computer.
