My shifter felt unusually stiff so I moved it full forward and back a couple times which seemed to loosen it up before I took a drive. After I get home, I tried to put it in park but my car rolled back instead, making a clanking noise like it was trying to catch but couldn't quite. So I tried again but this time I held my shifter as forward in park as I could till it did catch. Then my key wouldn't come out of the ignition as if it wasn't in park. Last thing I noticed is that my shifter seems to want to push back now like when I go from park to drive it practically does it by itself once I press in the detent. The car still drives normally and all, just those couple consistant issues, so any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks

There's something caught in your shifter linkage that's preventing the rod from moving freely.

You'll have to take apart the center console and look inside. If it's not there, look under the car at the tranny.
