Idel problems on 1988 Corsica

I got some work done on my 1988 corsica it has 99,000 milles on it and its a 2.8. The battery was diconected and now my idel is not working good. Some times it stalls at stop lights. It will idel fast at times and some times real low and stall. I was told a while back what to do but I can't reacall what they told me. I know its a easy fix.
Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Do u have a check engine light on. Could have problem with youre map sensor. Also could have a vaccum hose cracked.

I have the exact same Problem, I changed my battery and now it has a bad idle. Just like what you are having. I tried the idle relearn, but that didn't work out. So i'm thinking of changing the IAC.

The check engine doesn't come on my car
