Engine Performance problem
1990 Chevy Corsica 4 cyl Automatic 116000 miles

Ok just picked up a quick replacement car for my other 90 corsica. It stalls out after about 15-20 minutes of driving. When I slow the car until its in first gear, it bucks like crazy and dies. It starts right back up, but once it goes into drive it dies. Takes several tries of revving in Neutral and going into drive before it will go again. But will die once it slows again. I checked the error codes and nothing was returned. Found a collapsed vacuum hose and replaced it, also replaced all the following :

Oxygen Sensor
Fuel Filter
PCV Valve
Air Filter
Spark Plugs
muffler up to the catalytic converter
map sensor (took it off my other car, was working fine and was a replacement on that one)
Oil change/Oil Filter

The car sat for 8 months before I got it. What else could be wrong?

Are those all separate things? And if so do they have ways of checking them to see if they are functioning properly? Thanks

You need a repair manual to ID these components-Get the fuel pressure check and comeback with the readings this is where we start -further these components are possibilites only-theres a lot that can cause your problem
