Shakes or Wobbles problem
1995 Chevy Corsica 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

i have a 1995 chevy corsica, my car sometimes makes sound when I make a turn. But just a dew days ago while driving my right front wheel stop spinning, it felt like I hit sometime that causes to stop spinning. Therefore I pressed the gas pedal to move forward but it wont allowed me to move foward. And so I decided to reverse my car and then turn my wheel to the left to move again. It work but while driving at the speed of 35 mph my car started to shake and wobble. It seems that my car is trembling that was the feeling while driving. So I decided to drive slow to prevent my car from shaking, wobbling or trembling. When I reach my destination I found out that my right front wheel wont respond to my steering wheel. It wont go left or right but my left front wheel would respond to left or right if you turn the steering wheel but the right front wheel wont.
could you please tell me the possible problem of my car so that I can get it fixed. And how much do you think it will cause to repair it. Thank you very much.

Hello,

Sound like you have a couple problems.

First - the Wheel locking up could be either the wheel bearings or the brake caliper.

Second - the steering is most likely the outer tie rod end has broken off.

The cost of the repairs could be as much as $400 and that could increase if they find more problems that were caused be the wheel bearings or the tie rod end.
