My car will start, but if I dont immediatley press the gas down it will die. After this I can put it into drive or reverse and it will go as long as my foot never leaves the gas pedal. When I come to a complete stop or low speeds without reving gas it dies. I just had the oil, air filter, and battery replaced. Anyone have an idea whats wrong with my car? Im at a loss

Hi:
If I had to guess, I would say either the idle air control valve (IAC) or the throttle position sensor (TPS) may be bad. Is the check engine light on?

Hi:
What I want you to do is take the car to a nationally recognized parts store and have them scan the computer for codes. Most stores will do it for free, and if the light is on, there is a code, and it should identify the problem.

Let me know what you find.
