Engine Mechanical problem
1993 Chevy Corsica Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I just bought this car. It has a newly rebuilt engine. All the coolant and water started to come out of the radiator cap and the pcv tube broke off. What could have caused this problem to occur if not a head gasket? p.s. it didnt look overheated.

The PCV may have been dry rotted from heat. However, if the engine is blowing coolant out of the radiator without being over heated, that usually indicates a bad head gasket allowing pressure to enter the cooling system. You should have the compression tested to see if it is low.
