2006 Chevy Colorado 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 73600 miles
I left my key on in my truck accidently, now that I have jumpstarted the battery, the driver window and the locks do not work, I know there is a way to reset this but I don't remeber how, could you help me with this?
According to Mitchelle it takes a scan tool to go in and relearn the bcm. How ever the widow and lock on not on the same circuit but they do share fuse 21 for power. Also according to mitchelle there is no reset required for battery replacement. Check fuse 21 first and if that is good then you will need to have the bcm scanned to reprogram it.

If the fuse is good, you most likley have a bad driver window switch. I have had many of them go bad after jump starting or battery replacement. There is something inside them that gets a voltage spike and it kills the module.
