2005 Chevy Colorado gas tank

It takes me a very long time to put gas in my tank, the gas pump keeps shutting off

Remove the evap canister and check if it is full of fuel, if it is this will cause a hard to fill condition it causes a vapor lock because the canister gets soaked with gas. Post back with any other questions.
