I have a cobalt LS 2005 Sedan and would like 2 change spark plugs, wouldl like to know exactly were they r located, I have done some research but not sure, also my engine check ligth comes on but what I do is take the terminal out of the battery and then stays off 4 about 2 or 3 weeks and then back on, the car runs fine anyway with no problems. I know it could be just a sensor problems. Give some advice about the subject. Thank you.

Well, you should check that light, go to autozone, its free, unless you live in cali, it will cost a couple of bucks there, why? I have no idea. As far as the plugs, follow the four or six wires, to the engine, these are the overhead coils, you have to remove each one of these(one at a time) unscrew the plug, get the new plug, gap it correctly and screw in replace coil

Of course you must always remove the negative battery cable from the battery so you dont get in trouble, always wait about five minutes for all the electricity to leave the components

If ur EL comes on take it to Autozone. I had that same problem and it turn out to be the MAF sensor which is real easy to change.
