1996 Chevy Cheyenne V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I put new caliper pads an rotors on when I connected everything I started the engine when I pressed on the brake petal the engine stalled now won't start? How does this effect the engine running?

This has to be a problem that just hapened and not due to he brake pads being replaced. It could be a battery or anything there isn't enough info to diagnose this. Take it to a pro he can look it over as there can be several problems causing this.
