1993 Chevy Cheyenne weird poping noises

Hey guys I recently changed my thermostat in my 93 chevy and now im getting a poping noise but it only happens when im driving there is some kind of wire going to the thermostat is it a gound mybe. Dunno also when I stoped the truck it sounded like the water was boiling

If you have not solved the problem yet. Try to flush the cooling system, mix the coolant to 60/40, and before you replace the radiator cap, run the engine until the thermostat opens. Usually when your temp gauge reads about half and your coolant level should drop, also squeas the top radiator hose to (burp) out any air.

A purge line was out and hitting my fan the water problem is from my heater core leaking ty for the advis and I am going to put a new radiator cap on it
