Hi my name is Fabian and I need help with my truck.I just put a new a rebuild engine as you know my truck is a 93 n the motor that I got for it is a 77 350 n its got a mild cam. The problem its not starting it. Is only when I drive it I don't have power at all n it backfires a lot.I know that I made I mistake by triyng to run this much power with my TBI system. Can you help me fix this problem? Thank's

Well the only way to fix this is to go old school with an old style HEI distibutor and carburation. See the computer no longer has a knock sensor to read as there is no place to put it on the older pre injection blocks, so the timing is retarding it or advancing it and so on so the timing is alway way off. So it is either get the proper block to hook up the sensors that need to be there for the computer or eliminate the computer and carb it.
