2004 Chevy Celebrity Engine Size unknown Front Wheel Drive Automatic 630000 miles

I CAN NOT GET THE RADIATOR CAP OFF TO PUT COOLANT INTO THE RADIATOR. THE COOLANT GOES INTO THE HOLDER ON THE PASSANGER SIDE BUT THE PLASTIC CAP TURNS RIGHT & LEFT BUT I CAN NOT GET IT OFF. IS THERE A TRICK TO GETTING THE THING OFF?

Hey there. There is no trick for the plastic container, you just have to unscrew it. If it doesnt open you should suck out all the coolant in there (use a hose for that) and replace the container.

The radiator cap is a bit tricky, I dont have an original (I got one from Stant). I have to push the Stant one down and then turn it a bit more to uncrew it.
