i am trying to find my fuel pump I know its on the block but where on the block

84 and 85 was a strange year for GM.
You may not have a mechanical fuel pump.
You may have one in the tank.

If you have a carburetor, follow the metal line. It will go to the fuel pump on the engine.

If you have a throttle body with injectors, then you have an electric pump
