I was pulling out of a parking spot and turned the wheel and heard a snapping noise. I continued to drive it for about 5 miles and heard rubbing and snapping noised when I got to my destination the wheel was rubbed raw in the center. What happened? Is it fixable? Is it expensive?

We need to know what's undriveable before we can assist you. For me you sounded as though the outer CV joint came apart or whatever.

Its a chevy cavilier rs sedan 4 door 6 cylinder
