Hi I'm trying to replace a theromstat on my 95 cavalier z 24 with the 2.3L, manual tranny, just wondering if anyone has any good tips on how to do it, I don't have a manual for the car. Thanks in advance to anyone who helps!

Location of the thermostat varies. However in most cases the thermostat is located at the top front of the engine, usually directly under the location where the upper radiator hose connects to the engine. This connection point is often called the thermostat housing

Hey thanks for the advice, the thermostat on my car was actually up under the engine by the water pump, it was a challange but I got it all done on my own, my car is now running beautifully! Good luck to all!
