I bought a used 2001 Chevy Cavalier with 86,000 miles on it and it had sat for a while before I bought it and the gas gauage or the speodometer doesn't work. How do I fix this or do I need to take it to a dealer to have it fixed? Approx. How much to get the speodometer fixed?

Go to a salvage yard and buy a used one. It's easier to replace. The dealer will chage over $500 and a used one is about $50.00 Good luck
