I don't know what is wrong with my cavalier. The dome light does'nt work and niether does the trunk interior light. Would it be bulbs or a fuse? Or possibly something worse? Please help someone. I just got this car, it's my first car, and I have no clue what's wrong with it

First check the fuses and make sure none of them are blown (make sure the metal piece is not broke) then if the fuses are fine try to replace the bulbs

I know what you mean about it being a first car. I just bought a 1991 Cavalier from a used car lot. 6 cylinder engine, and it had a problem that the taillights were staying on, but I got that fixed by replacing the Brake Light Switch. With your dome light and trunk interior light. With the trunk light, check the bulb. As for the dome light, Check the CTSY fuse located in the fuse box. It is a 20 Amp fuse and it is underneath the dash. Check those 2 things and you should be good.
