Hood Release latch cable

My hood release latch cable broke. It is a 1992 Cavalier 4 cyl, with 127k miles. How can I open the hood to fix it

Where did it break at? If it broke at the handle then take a pair of pliers and grab the cable where it broke at and pull the cable. Hope this helps

The cable broke under the hood so we need to know how we can open the hood without being able to pull the cable. This is a 1992 Chevy Cavalier 4 cyl. With 127,000 miles on it. Thank you

The only other option is to take a flathead screwdriver and try to force the the latch loose. Good luck
